inside of you just snaps and you switch over to a fully barbaric and completely out of control version of yourself that you no longer wish to be. Some 1-5% of the American population have experienced this feeling, especially those who have had someone try to take their life from them. There are moments of searing anger when I can only pinpoint on the nearest target; moments when my mind can focus on the most minute weakness and exploit it to a horrible outcome.
I am a very lucky man, who gets to be alive when far better men and women than I lost their lives to my right and left in that hateful sandbox. I am grateful for what gifts I have been given, and for my ability to use them to be a contributor to society and a provider for my family. But, I cannot say that if I were in this situation that I would remember any of those things. I can only feel the darkest rage and hatred deep inside my soul for a person, entity, or institution that is this disrespectful and hate-filled towards any other people.
Even typing this intro after reading about these college boys, keeping in mind the amount of rapists that exist on college campuses these days, my entire body has gone the kind of numb you only get when you literally do not give a fuck what happens to you. That kind of physical numbness that you get when you are fully aware that you may incur some harsh physical pain in your next few actions.
Had I been one of the guys spit on, or pissed on by these fraternity shitheads, I would be in jail awaiting judgement for multiple attempted homicide charges. I give so much credit to these warriors who have the fortitude of spirit to quell the rage monster that demands giving sacrifices to “friend-death”. They are and always will be better humans than I. I pray that one day I can return to the human I was created to be, but it has been a long road and there are many more miles to go before I reach a measurable amount of control over this kind of anger.
It’s a dangerous and empowering thing to know just what you are capable of, at the end of the day. It is equally horrifying and soul crushing to envision the extent of your capabilities.

What in the fuck. Seriously, I can not comprehend the idiocy behind this.

And you know what dude, so far this was a decent week for veterans. Female soldier who contracted breast cancer is getting her treatment paid for by the VA after a big bru-ha-ha.

I would have certainly been catching charges too even if I had seen this go down. I am not pro military per se, but that is besides the point of respecting those that have fought for our country - whether you agree or not with the reasoning of the fighting. Even that is too high of a level to take this, those assholes were base, crass, and way out of line. Expelling them isn’t even close to a fitting punishment for them

A while ago... It seems it’s been that way for a few years in some ways politically.

You don’t have to be pro-military to have this fill you with rage, just a human being. Expulsion is too good for these assholes. They need to be thrown a blanket party >:(

I remember several states being outed for putting those who were in the welfare system for extremely extended periods of time were forced to be sterilized, so should it be for those who have flagrant disrespect for society and human beings.

What in the fuck. My local University (Cal Poly SLO) is having some serious issues with frats too, and this is just inexcusable on every level. I don’t blame you for your rage. I rarely agree with the places our government sends our forces or their reasons for doing so, but it sure as hell doesn’t mean those who served(d) don’t deserve respect from the civilian population, most especially some punk-ass frat bastards. I’d hold ‘em down for you.

I would beat the living, breathing, pot-smoking shit out of each and every single one of them. I would go A-10 Warthog on these fuckers. No shame at all.
